Security is paramount with the AMSEC Model B2900 In-Floor Safe. Its handle-activated locking mechanism consists of three 1" diameter chrome steel locking bolts, each of which is drive-resistant.
A one-piece dead bar prevents the door from being lifted off when the bolts are engaged, and the door itself is made of a full-size, 3/4" A36 solid steel plate, making it more difficult to pry open. The UL Listed Group II Dial Combination Lock is the standard lock, but the ESL5 Illuminated Digital Lock is available for an extra charge.
A relocking device adds even more security in the event of an attack, and the carburized hard plate ensures that either lock is well-protected.
