The AX series safe deposit boxes offer attractive, low-cost modular construction and minimal upkeep.
The AX series combines ½˝ solid alloy doors faced with stainless steel and cabinets made of powder-coated, rust-resistant steel. For high security, the doors are designed with a heavy flange that interlocks with the door jamb.
The modular cabinets can be stacked in sections and bolted together through pre-drilled holes in the frame for easy installation. The AX series can be installed against the vault wall, utilizing every inch of valuable wall space.
Bases are constructed of heavy-duty tubular steel and finished in stainless steel to match the boxes. Standard bases are 3˝ high and equipped with leveling legs.
As standard, doors are fitted with a double-nose, key-changeable lock on both the guard and customer sides, and are U.L. listed. Locks are firmly attached to the door at four points to help prevent punch attacks. Two customer keys in a sealed, numbered envelope come standard.
Glare-resistant matte finish number plates are recessed into a customized frame that complements the stainless steel and anodized aluminum finishes.
Metal bond boxes are furnished in all sizes inside each opening. These boxes are constructed from sheet metal, treated for rust resistance, and powder-coated with an enamel finish.
An optional pull-out shelf for convenient handling of customers’ bond boxes is available. These shelves stack between two sections of AX boxes. When not in use, they are virtually undetectable. The shelf is framed in heavy-gauge steel and finished in stainless steel to match the boxes.
